Dr. Arthur Lembke, DDS has been in the koi hobby since the spring of 1972.  Art has been an active fish enthusiast since his early teens, keeping both marine and freshwater fish.  His interest in Show Goldfish began in 2000 after observing the competitions at so many of the Koi Shows he has judged. 

Art became an AKCA Certified Koi Judge in 1996, a ZNA Local Certified Koi Judge in 1998, and an AGA Certified Goldfish Judge in 2007. Art has been show chair at many shows and is a past President of the Mid-Atlantic Koi Club. He has judged shows all around the world.  He enjoys the challenge of judging fish and learning about different types of fish.  He also enjoys the friendship of the many people he meets in the fish hobby.  He has won major awards for his fish in Tropical Fish Shows, Koi Shows, and Goldfish Shows.  Art and his wife, Nicole, use most of their vacation time each year to travel around the country and the world for shows.
